Rev. Emily Carroll, the servant leader of the Shady Grove United Methodist Church – Mansfield, has often times found herself a transplant in alien soil, for her faith in God destines her to fear not the warmth of other suns, to be a living witness to the marginalized, an advocate for social change and to preach and teach God’s word to the masses.
